Third Night of Hockey! 10/9/15

So last night, the Bruins proved they are not playoff contenders and the Wild had one of the craziest comebacks I have EVER seen. Maybe I'll do some analysis later when I have time, but wow. Also missed most of the game due to the Caps STH event. I'll post my main haul in a sec, but first...

So far:
MONEYLINE: 10-1 (6-1 last night)
O/U: 2-8-1 (1-6 last night)

7:00PM WINNIPEG JETS VS NEW JERSEY DEVILS
So the Jets just ran over Boston... but last year they were 4-2-3 in the second half of back-to-backs. I also think the Devils suck and will be vying for a high draft pick (sorry, Cory Schneider). I also don't think the Devils will screw up as much as the Bruins did last night, so there won't be as many opportunities to score.
MONEYLINE: Jets O/U: 5 goals (UNDER)

7:00PM NEW YORK RANGERS VS COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS
I cannot wait to see the Saad-Johansen-Foligno line in action in a regular season game. They had 29 points between them in the pre-season (7 games) which is absurd. That being said, they could be better than the triplets were last year. We all saw what the Rangers are capable of when pissed off, but I think the speed of the Blue Jackets might be better than the speed of the Rangers. Remember, the Blue Jackets finished on a tear last season as they were knocked out of the playoffs and had nothing to play for other than spoiler (which got the Caps home-ice advantage in the first round)
MONEYLINE: BLUE JACKETS O/U: 5 goals (OVER)

7:00PM TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS VS DETROIT RED WINGS
Mike Babcock returns back to the city where he won a cup. Also time for Detroit to prove they don't need Babcock to get the best out of their players as they know how to draft the best players (seriously, they do). Bernier is back in net after allowing the first goal of the season on the first shot of the season while the Wings counter with Jimmy Howard. No Datsyuk for the Wings, but they have proven they can win without him on the ice if necessary.
MONEYLINE: RED WINGS O/U: 5 goals (OVER)

7:30PM CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS VS NEW YORK ISLANDERS (NHLN)
The oddest setup in the NHL for a hockey rink will be on full display at Barclays' Center tonight. I'm going to see it first hand in January, but until then, I will make fun of the wanna-be hockey rink as much as possible. The Blackhawks come to town and this time, they won't be coasting early on. I think it'll be the Isles who fall tonight because Thomas Greiss will be in net (who? Exactly). Expect the Blackhawks to use their speed to win the matchups and their smarts to beat the goaltender.
MONEYLINE: BLACKHAKWS O/U: 5 goal (OVER)

10:30PM ARIZONA COYOTES VS LOS ANGELES KINGS
Ok, the Kings lose their home opener for the fifth? time in a row and now they play the crappy Coyotes. Dustin Brown and Milan Lucic escaped with warnings after this shit. Anyways, the Kings are super pissed so they're going to take it out on Phoenix Arizona (I'm going to puck this up quite a bit). I'm going to troll this pick and go with the Coyotes because , for some god forsaken reason that escapes me, I think the Kings will continue their funk: play too aggressive, get too many penalties and end up spending too much time in the sin bin.
MONEYLINE: COYOTES O/U: 5 goals (UNDER)

Last thing to post... my main haul from the Caps Season Ticket Holder party...
That is Backstrom's signature on the jersey along with MoJo and Orpik signing their own sticks! How sweet is that?!?!?!?!
These items are now going in my vault of video games and sports collectibles. As for the rest of my memorabilia, I will post those later on down the road.
